Besides, the location was stunning for our stay, within 15 minutes' walk of Patal Temple. Set next to restaurants and bars, it was a plus.

The hotel was ideal and special and the room was huge. The staff was amazingly kind and incredibly nice and everything was well-maintained. Location: the venue was very close to restaurants and shops, a lovely and serene garden and the Indonesia. It also was close to everything. The location was particularly good, with Warung Ibu Resi nearby, where we could eat.

It is a stunningly beautiful property located in Sanur Beach district close enough to the ferries, a taxi and an island that has so much fruit.

During our stay at Puri Tempo Doeloe Boutique, my family and I were delighted to have the spacious three-bedroom villa with a private pool all to ourselves. The retro eclectic decor and authentic Balinese village ambiance added a unique touch to our experience. We also appreciate the free shuttle service to the beach. I highly recommend this hotel for its quirks and comforts.

The beautiful design and the blending of old and new was extremely well done and the staff were at all times very helpful friendly and polite. The private garden attached to room 803 was very special and extended the living area of the room to create a sense of real peace and relaxation. The semi open air bathroon was a delight. The La Tartine cafe (onsite) cleverly mixed asian and euro influences and served excellent light meals and snacks. We indulged a little in the attached spa and with more time would have indulged further! We will return to this hotel.

Although the hotel is located on the main bypass road, noise is not an issue due to the clever design of the site but the reality is that you are just over a 1km walk to the beach. Taxis are very cheap and always available, so this is just a little niggle.

I was amazed by the beautiful cottages and the sense of Bali at this boutique hotel. The owners' attention to detail was evident in the lush tropical plants and flowers that adorned the property. The private pools were top notch, and each bungalow had its own unique charm. The small restaurant on site served delicious desserts, and the room service was convenient. The peaceful spa offered a range of relaxing treatments. I highly recommend this hotel for a truly memorable Bali experience.

Internet and telephone services were not too good

I had an amazing stay in this hotel. The male staff at the counter were helpful and attentive and they arranged my transport and tours perfectly. The room was huge with old-fashioned decor yet equipped with modern amenities like air conditioning and fridge. The breakfast was simple but good with mini-sized croissants and bread. The pool and the garden were great for relaxing and I spent most of my time there. Moreover, the hotel had a beautiful and peaceful surrounding which made me nostalgic for old times.

Can't fault anything about it.

Everything about this place was just magic! We stayed here for 10 nights and we enjoyed every single moment spent here!! The staff were very kind and helpful, the cottage we stayed in had everything we needed, the bathroom was gigantic, the food at La Tartine: soooo delicious (gained a couple of pounds without any doubt, they have must try chocolate cakes and hazelnut pie surrounded by warm chocolate sauce!) The surroundings were soooo quiet, so relaxing, we'll definitely be back here!!

No negative comments, maybe a little far from the beach (about 15 min walk), but that was good to burn the calories gained from the delicious food at La Tartine ;-)
